This project consists of the design and development of a flexible information system to supply data for technological prospective studies. It will be based on Oracle database server, and clients will run under standard web browsers for easy and secure query access to the database, to retrieve the selected energy technologies data for techno-economic and other sort of assessments. To obtain a high degree of flexibility for storing potentially variable data structures, a multidimensional model will be design based on an external dictionary for easy modification. A simple administration tool will allow easy basic data maintenance and supervision. Coherence tools and mechanisms will be provided to guarantee a controlled growth.
